Indian Village Culture in Odia

Indian Village Culture in Odia : India is also called the country of villages. Most of the country's population is dependent on agricultural work, who live in villages. Many scholars have said that if you want to see the true nature of India, then you should visit the village of India, that is where the real India resides.

The life and culture of the village progresses in a quiet environment at a very slow pace as compared to the life of the urban or metropolitan crowd and the bustling part. Indigenousness is seen in the language, living habits, clothing, and behavior of the people of the village, which is completely different from the people of urban life.

Often the people of the cities have a low level perception about the people who live in the village. But in reality, they live a quiet place away from the world of the city with great chic which is nowhere to be seen in urban life. Visiting each other's places, thriving fields, village chopal, religious beliefs of people, strict adherence to life values, respect for elders can be seen only in villages.

That is why the villages of India are also called the soul of the country. It is a matter of fact that there are many bad things in rural life, in which excess of theism, superstition, discrimination, social evils, low standard life of the people or, as such, the means of employment in the village are less, due to which most of the population lives in the shadow of poverty. But even after poverty, the matter of satisfaction in life and accepting it as the result of previous birth is common in villages.

In the village or in the locality, when someone gets sick or has trouble, people forget their aliens and take steps to help them. The tradition of brotherhood is well carried out by being involved in each other's happiness and sorrow. Women get the highest sense of security in villages only. Here people are tied into behavior according to society and culture. This is the reason why women are respected here.

In the field of education, the condition of the villages seems to be somewhat backward, although today due to the spread of education, the government is making arrangements for school education in the village. But the young men and women here have to travel to far-flung cities for higher education.

Indian villages with a calm mind are slowly getting affected by the urban climate. Crime trend is increasing rapidly in the villages. Due to the non-existence of village panchayats, many times, one gets to read the news of anti-social elements even killing someone on any small matter.
